bowling's crown jewel of the midwest!
tropicana history
The name Tropicana Lanes conjures up memories of bowling’s golden years. We are the largest bowling center in the state of Missouri. These 52 lanes have been part of the fabric of the sport since we opened in 1960. Professional Bowling Titles have been won, College Championships have been decided, and most importantly countless numbers of families have enjoyed a fun day at the lanes here at the “Trop.” We invite you to leave your troubles at the door, swap your work shoes for ours, and put down your phone for a while to stay in the moment and make lasting memories with your friends and family.
Fresh Look
Our 52 lanes are bright and welcoming. Here they are as PBA Star Bill O'Neill rolls for $10,000!
NCAA Women's Championships
Tropicana was the scene for an exciting Championship run for the ladies of Vanderbilt.
90's Style
Were you here in 1995 for rock & bowl? Maybe you met your friends and jammed out to TLC, Green Day, and N'Sync.
Old School
Palm trees, island landscapes over the lanes, and great memories all the same.
Updated Paradise Lounge
Billiards, darts, new seating, tons of TVs and a rebuilt bar are ready for you and your group.
Looking back
We've come a long way on style in the Paradise Lounge.
st. louis
St Louis is a bowling town, a baseball town, a foodie’s delight, and the biggest small town in the Midwest. Boasting a population near 3 million it’s a large city with endless entertainment options yet it’s still full of friendly midwestern folks. We’re known for the Cardinals, our thin crust pizza, Anheuser Busch, toasted ravioli, the confluence of the Mississippi & Missouri Rivers, the Gateway Arch, and of course BOWLING! The city was home to the Famed Budweiser Team and bowling legends like Dick Weber, Pete Weber, Ray Bluth, Bo Burton, and so many more. The city loves to bowl and we are a proud part of that tradition for almost 60 years! Welcome to St Louis and welcome to Tropicana Lanes!
Gateway To The West
As the nation grew St. Louis played an instrumental role in the expansion westward for the United States.
